Mera woh matlab nahin tha…we never say what we mean

This post is inspired from a play titled”Mera woh matlab nahin tha”we never say what we mean.

(No its not any promotion or anything, just the title was so intriguing and interesting…and i dont know anything more about this play other than that its lead characters are Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher)

Somewhat similar phrase,”Mere kehne ka matlab tha..” happens to be a frequent of sorts in many households too! and just like the guessing weather of the place where we live….keeps me guessing why in any relationship interpretational skills are always questioned whereas clear and crisp conversation is kind of becoming a lost art!

Why cant we be more transparent and clear in our expressions that there is no room left for second helpings of explanations and at times way too generous ones…leading to extended and out of context arguments! sigh! Only if life could come with a mute button. It would have been rather a joyride to mute unwanted dialogues and keep it all simple and pleasant..

If only people could be a little more mindful, relations could be much more meaningful and rewarding!!

Is it just the responsibility of the over sensitive ones…to introspect?
