Longsighted……humor behind the cloud!

Thoughts to ponder: Do near ones (close relations) tend to get longsighted with time or is it all in our minds? Or its more of a case of each mind understanding/interpreting according to its own capacity/inclination/circumstances…. and the list goes on!! Just as in our everyday lives, if we are disturbed about anything howsoever minor it maybe(here again “the minor” is subjective) it impacts rest of the compartments too. The signs though may or may not be visible right away, but the affect is there. How we are today in our dealings and feelings have a lot to do with preconceived notions too. Consciously or not when we see/hear around us it does get a place on our minds and unfortunately/fortunately a significant at times!

And yes! Human minds are complex indeed!

The idea of writing my thoughts in a blog was the result of tendinitis(no no writing a blog is not part of the treatment) to give my arms some rest i was forced not to do weight lifting (in my case its not direct weights as in any gym but my compulsive rearranging furniture(a ritual more regular than not), pots and all…and also no more carrying BIG HAND BAGS(which have almost become like a part of my personality!! But having said that the size of my bags have an unusual quality too they expand even more that i would like to believe that with time they have acquired this accommodating trait from me:), you see like in families the members learn from each other!!

I feel a complete blog post about “the curious case of my bags” should follow in the coming days!!

And this post is the funny outcome of us talking casually ( husband and wife)!!(typical after years of being together…your ‘said’ expectations usually fall flat and not to mention the ‘unsaid’ ones… Taken for granted is the clue here 🙂 So our conversation lead to this thought that maybe  its time for the husband to get the glasses (Long sightedness,  affects a person’s ability to see objects close to them) and perhaps i may add (feel) too to it!!What say? 🙂

Worry as a habit

It is one of those over thinking kind of  days, when you just happen to spin your own web of thoughts and then get stuck in it.  And it goes without saying that once you enter into this season or phase of being a worrier then these sort of days are more regular than the sun in the winters 🙂

One thought leads to another and before you know, you are at a dead end and you happen to have forgotten the original seed from where the worry sprung and you are just on auto pilot! Worrying indeed! But nothing in particular, just keeping up with its physical symptoms!!

Worrying is a habit(not to be proud of) and am a pro!! Oh! How i wish to be a little bit on the thicker skin side!!(work in progress!!)

But as they say worry solves no issues, rather creates the ones which were never even there. So picking myself up as always, changing one thought at a time!

Self help is the best help.
